I am 32 and DH is 30. We have been TTC #1 for 4 years. It took 1 year of trying naturally, then 6 months of me being tested, then 6 months for DH, then DH Dx with low FSH and Rx-ed Clomid 25 mgs per day. After 4-6 more month, I was Rx-ed Clomid and Repronex to have more "targets". Then after 2 failed cycles due to ovaries puttering out and not Oing, sent to RE.

DH has been on clomid 15 months.

Our Clomid/Repronex protocol was:
Clomid CD3-7
Repronex CD 9
Glucophage 1500 mgs daily
Hcg trigger shot CD 14
IUI on CD 16

We did that for 5 rounds, only 3 IUIs

First Round- Progressed fine and then slow response ended in cancelling IUI.

Second Round-Same as above. Referred to RE.

Added Glucophage ER 1500 mgs per day for PCO tendencies for me.

Third round, 8 follies on CD 12 were around 11,11,12,13,14,15,16, and 20 mm. (dominant ones on left side) IUI with 20 million little soldiers.

Fourth round-at least 2 follicles at 22 mm (right side)with 3 million from DH. Dr. said low count was probably due to sinus infection and DH being sick during the last 2 weeks.

Fifth Protocol:

Repronex injections, 1 amp CD 3-13 2 amps CD 14-16
u/s on 9/1 had 5.5 lining, 2 follies on left at 8mm and 11mm. One on right at 8 mm.

Rx doubled, another u/s on 9/9 Ovaries not responding, cycle cancelled.

Doing 3 unmedicated cycles (except Glucophage) and then pulling out the big guns again in January.

October cycle-Oed twice--really weird! Probably left over effects from meds

November-Oed on my own again!

December-Oed on my own! (left side) Now just wait for AF to start total injectible cycle with Repronex.

January Protocol:
DH still on clomid
Me-Repronex 2 amps per day with Glucophage 1500mgs, trigger and IUI. Progesterone supps after O.

We are now saving up for IVF!

IVF Protocol:

June and July-Suppression
August 4th-Start Lupron
August 13th-Start Repronex, 4 amps a day

Tentative ER is August 24!
