TTC Baby #2

Where did I come from?" the baby asked its mother. She answered, half-crying, half-laughing, and clasping the baby to her breast: "You were hidden in my heart as its desire, my darling. You were in the dolls of all my childhood games. In all my hopes and my loves, in my life, in the life of my mother, and in her mother before her, you have lived."
--Rabindranath Tagore

Short Term Weight Loss Goal

5/26/05 OB/GYN Appt.-Placed on Clomid 50 mg CD 5-9 for 4 cycles. Baseline ultrasound prior to taking Clomid and ultrasound after taking Clomid ordered.

Update 6/1/05- OB/GYN called with pelvic ultrasound and bloodwork results (hormone panel, thyroid function test, etc., the works) and she said that the bloodwork was all normal and the ultrasound showed normal ovaries (PCOS not indicated), but I do have a small fibroid in my uterus that is "nothing to worry about". She said that it's likely been there quite a while and should not in any way impede conception or disrupt a pregnancy. I do need to take the Clomid (CD 5-9) for 3 cycles b/c I have irregular cycles. After 4 cycles, I should have an ultrasound to check for overstimulation of the ovaries.

7/06/05 Progesterone level=27.5

9/12/05 U/S done to check for overstimulation and cysts after 3rd round of Clomid 50 mg. Results pending.

9/14/05 OB/GYN called w/ U/S results- Ultrasound results on 9/12/05 (S/P 3 rounds of Clomid 50 mg CD 5-9) 9DPO:
*Uterus size on upper side of normal (normal according to doc)
*Small fibroids (doc didn’t seem worried about them)
*Endometrial lining looks good (no size given)
*Right Ovary-normal appearing follicles less than 9 mm (question for doc. Doc said that that supports theory of PCOS?)
*Left Ovary-Multiple follicles. Corpus Luteum Cyst measuring 25mm X 15mm X15 mm which is new since last U/S (done May 25th).
Free fluid in pelvis
*Left Corpus Luteum Cyst and free fluid in pelvis indicates that I was post-ovulatory

9/20/05-Started Clomid 100 mg CD 5-9

Medical Info: Hypertension, Hypothyroidism (on Synthroid-thyroid function test normal), Fibromyalgia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Mitral Valve Prolapse
